Problem with updating firmware on A04

Hey I have a Pioneer A04 burner and am trying to upgrade my firware to 1.31 so I can burn my 1x dvd's at 2x, though when I try to instal it I always get this error: Model name of Kernel part is not matched. Any ideas how to fix this, I would greatly appreciate it.
