I have this computer, windows XP on it. I installed AVG and scanned it and here is the thing, it is finding many copies of Trojan horse Downloader.Generic3.ZJQ. The thing with it is, it's finding files that I would think are clean, for instance it found these.

C:\Program Files\HP\HP Software Update\HPWuSchd2.exe
C:\Program Files\Musicmatch\Musicmatch Jukebox\mimboot.exe
C:\Program Files\Musicmatch\Musicmatch Jukebox\mm_tray.exe

It found more then this but I'm just wondering, is it possible that these files were injected with this virus? Or does this virus seek out to create these files in these directories if they don't exist to make it look valid? Or is AVG having serious issues detecting viruses where there are none? Or is there something else going on?

This computer has music match jukebox installed on it so I feel that it must be that the virus switches out the files, somehow injects the virus code into these files or AVG is getting a lot of false possitives. Please let me know what you think.

All 3 are FP's. Scrap AVG and click the 2nd link in my sig for a quality AV. :D

False Positive :)

If AOL has good Anti-Virus, that would be a first.
It's simply a rebranded Kaspersky AV 6.0 with file and email protection. My FAQ contains additional information if you're interested.

Well that would explain why it works then. If AOL wrote it it would probably give you viruses rather than remove them.
