Hello,
I've had Windows XP Professional (SP2) installed on my PC for a number of years now and thanks to the feature that lets you auto-sync the OS time with an internet site, the has always been correct. However, I've noticed over the past few past weeks that, even though this feature is still turned on, I eventually 'lose' time - as much as being 5 minutes behind the proper time. Clicking the 'Update Now' button to resync it fixes the problem, but only temporarily - it eventually falls behind, usually within 12 hours, at the most. I have all the latest Windows updates and such. Does anyone know how to fix this problem...could it be a problem with the motherboard battery? Other than that, I'm at a loss. Thanks!
