Kaspersky has continually reported that 'Helkern' has been trying to attack my computer... each time, it is with a different IP address... I have done a search, and found that it is a SQL Server issue... I do not run SQL in any form, and I am not able to run the patch. Any suggestions?

I've noticed some of that in my mom's Kaspersky logs. She's on dial-up and so a router isn't an option. My guess is that, whether your system's vulnerable or not, the attack is still detected for what it is. Or maybe just false positives.

You can block attacking IP addresses for up to 600 minutes in the configuration panels for the real-time scanning, I believe.

Except that everytime I get attacked, it is from a different IP address... My computer is set to the DMZ on the router so tha I can play games online. I am using nVidia's hardware/software firewall for my computer.
