Problem with the Asus A7V333 -- disk boot failure

my computer was working fine a few days ago. now i move to a different state, and its not working. Maybe something is damaged? but that seems a bit odd.

When i turn on the computer. The post is fine. then i get: "Boot disk failure. Insert System disk and try again"

In BIOS under primary/secondary master & slave, I get "none"

and if i put in the info manually i get "primary master" (or whatever) "failed"

please help me =(

hi,
if you're lucky, the ide cable came off of the mb or the hd during the move and all you have to do is to put it back on. check that first. if the cable is in place solidly (unplug and replug the cable at both connections), listen to see if the hd is spinning up when you power on the machine. if it isnt, it's probably time for a new hd.
good luck.

when you go into bios try putting halt on all errors to halt on no errors
if that doesnt do anything, time to crack open teh case and make sure all cables are attached
