Problem with stylebuilder and startbutton color change

Hey all. I followed the directions from here on the forums for changing the color of my start button. Followed them exactly, actually a couple of times. When I push the Apply button to set the color, my desktop goes to the color I set and my theme disappears and sets to a classic windows look. But my start button stays green. Anyone have a problem with this and what was the fix, if any?
