problem with SPDIF output of SB Live!Value

Does anybody know whether SB Live!Value (version one) have spdif out capability?
I need to connect it to Soundworks digital 2.1 and I don't want to purchase another
daugher board. Thanks

the original sb live value does not have spdif out.

You can add a daughter board for spdif in/out.
Either Creative (overpriced) or Hoontech (very cheap and more features than Creative's).

Whats the advantage of SPDIF for a 2.1 system? Wouldnt a standard audio jack work for that?
