Problem with SoundBlaster Live! XGammer 5.1.........

Whys is it that I cannot use Playcenter2 or winamp to play music cd's out of all 4 speakers! I can use windows media player and i get sound out of all 4 speakers! When I first installed this sound card it worked fine and then a couple of days later I would only get sound (music cd's only) out of 2 speakers! I had this exact same problem with my soundblaster Live! Value card thats why I got the XGammer 5.1! Is it that my cd-rom screwed up or is it the sound card! I have the 4 speaker option set to 4 speaker! And I know that Windows media player pulls the sound thru the IDE cable! And I get sound thru all 4 speakers thru games and thru windows sounds! it just when I am playing Music CD's! Oh yeah and why can't I play music cd's thru Playcenter2! I have tried and it will not let me! Is there someting I have to set up! Can anyone help!
