Problem with sound...

I am using a SBlive plat 5.1, in window 2000, with dtt2500 speakers. When i play something in winamp or in any program i only get sound out of the right speakers and nothing else, but when i do a test in speaker settings i get all 5 speakers to work...where am i missing a setting?
 
do you have liveware installed?

if so, have you checked the creative mixer and seen if you're balance controls are off?
 
also, check the balance control on winamp itself. the control is to the right of the volume control. make sure the balance control is in the middle.
 
Hmmm...SPDIF passthrough isn't supposed to work in 2k...but if you say that you're having the problem regardless it makes me think that it is a setting problem. I'd just start checking all liveware/volume/etc settings and make sure nothing's muted, and the balance is right. Let us know of any progress...
