Wondering if u think its the gAME or something to do with drivers or whatever

my system:

t-bird 1400
epox 8k7a mobo
512mb ram
Sound Blaster Live Value
Geforce 2 64 mb
Windows 2000

all of my games run fine but Everquest. every few sec the sound stops and then comes on (only lasts a few sec) and does that often......... think its sometihng with the game or hardware or driverS?

EverQuest is a multi-player game only, isn't it? It has to be something to do with lag. Are you on a fast connection like Cable or ADSL or are you on a slow connection like a 56K modem?
 
Do you have the latest drivers for everything in your system (eg 4-in-1s, sound, video card, etc)?
