Problem with SLI

Samsung Syncmaster 957mb

Here is the issue when I run 3dmark05 demo and other tests my pc is only rendering 1 card instead of the set sli with multi gpu rendering. The bios is set to auto the on board chip is set to dual and sli is enabled. any ideas of what could be wrong?
