Problem with search

I've been trying to find a thread from either July or August and when I do a search nothing comes up for those months. I do the username search and I get results up to may 2000 and the next one is september 2000. It seems like June, July and August are missing.
 
Yeah there was an issue with the sql server a few weeks ago that lost a few messages. Not much can be done about a hardware issue.
