I've been having problems saving out of my CS2 applications (illistrator, photoshop, etc) onto the network (novell). When I save a file, it splits into two like this:
4x8 bw GOW.ai (this is the one I named)
4X8BWG~1.ai (this is the one the computer named)
4x8 bw GOW.ai becomes corrupt and gives me the message "The file '4x8 bw GOW.ai' is in an unknown format and cannot be opened." and 4X8BWG~1.ai becomes my new file. One work around to the problem is to save to my C drive.
