Problem with SAV Corp 9.0

Alright so i upgraded clients/servers from 8->9 which sucked to begin with. Now on half of my clients im not getting the vptray.exe icons to show up. Symmantec has this stupid doc on how to fix it and all it says is to make sure that its in the 'run' part of the registry and this one key is set to '1', which they both were. The services are running in the backround and it is backround-scanning its just not loading the icon. Any ideas?
