I have bought Sandisk 256GB usb 3.1 (gen1) flash drive. It is claimed for very high speeds (don't recall precise at moment but it is not important now, it should be almost 400mb/s).

It works at very low speeds. Please, before you may think for any reason that maybe it is normal, it is not. Because I tested same files, same usb slot, with Sandisk Extreme 64GB, and it works much faster.

I had read that maybe it can be needed to enable UASP to work. I'm using Windows 7, but I have Asus motherboard (Asus Deluxe Z97 usb3.1), and on usb slots on motherboard, it is exactly writen "USB3.0/UASP". So, this motherboard support UASP.

There we have this article :

I had try to check like it is described there, and I can confirm that drive do not work with UASP. It states "USBSTOR.sys".

Also, one note - when I look at Aida64 sensor information, this flash drive always state 8C temperature. It is not possible because it always stay fixed, no matter what I copy on drive. And after all, ambient temperature is much higher.

Possibly I have bought drive with error?

Tnx
