Hey all, I have a DFI ak75-ec (supports 133 and 100 bus) motherboard with a 1ghz t bird (266 fsb), pc133 crucial ram, radeon le graphics card and 300 watt power supply.
The problem I'm having is when I try to run at a 133mhz bus. The bus speed is controlled by jumpers on the mainboard, and when I take off the jumper to run at the higher bus speed, and then try to start up it works the first time.
However, if I restart there will be a black screen, or a 'bios checksum error' message I have the cpu multiplier set 7.5, but have also tried all the other settings. I had the bridges colored in so that I could overclock, but thinking that I messed up and connected them all wrong, I just erased all the graphite hoping that was my problem. It isn't. Please help me! Running at 100mhz the machine is stable as could be(except when running b & w)
Thanks,
Andy
