Problem with resolution in DOD:S

I have a 17" LCD native resolution at 1280x1024 and in DOD:S I accidentaly changed the resolution to a 16:9 one. Every time i tried to start the game my monitor goes blank and says "does not support video mode". So basically I can't even go into the game to change it back. Is there a way through the game files that I can change the resolution? Or is there any other way I can fix this.

i think u have to do it in the .CFG file or something. read tweakguides for half-life 2 CFG 's

uninstall and reinstall? That's my GUESS. I'd wait for a more respected/knowledgable member's response before I would do that though. Good luck.

go to the steampowered.com forums and read there. This is a common problem that people have. Go there to find out how to manually reset the resolution in a configuration file.
