Problem with Reconizing 160gb Harddrive

Friend got this motherboard, and this harddrive... problem is this:
I built the system and in the bios it reconizes the drive perfectly as a 160gb drive, however when I install a fresh copy of Windows Professional it only partitions it as a 12.7gb drive... any ideas as to why?

Do you have 48-bit LBA Enabled in your BIOS?

Edit: Check this, WD Support

You also might want to try a slipstreamed installation of Windows XP with either SP1/2.

How would I go about doin that? I've always wanted to be able to install windows with a service pack w/ it automatically. BTW I have a legit copy of Windows XP pro

No, you do not have to install or slipstream SP1 before SP2. SP2 includes all of the SP1 updates, as well as the newer updates and patches.
