I have a Powercolor Evil Commando Radeon 9000 Pro 128 MB.
my brother tells me the power conked out in our house earlier today while the computer was on.
When he started it back up, my mobo (Epox 8k7a) made that 5 beep noise upon post and nothing showed up on the monitor.
i recognize the post beep code for video problems and I swapped out the card for another and it worked fine.
My system is all plugged into a pretty good surge protector.
could a power outage still affect my video card like that?
I think i ordered the card from Newegg some time ago (less than a year). Do i have any chance at RMA'ing this thing with them? Powercolor charges your ass $20 for s/h for a repair/replacement.
