I would suggest e-mail Asus about the issue. They are decent at troubleshooting problems, and is the best way to get a replacement if it is necessary to do so.

You'll get this warning any time you change the CPU or even change the HSF on the CPU and unplug and re-connect the CPU fan. When that happens, you have to open the BIOS and close it using F10 or the "Save these Settings and Close" dialog. If you're getting it after you have all your components settled and have opened and closed the BIOS, it should not show up again. If it does, call ASUS Tech Support (number on their web site) talk to them and tell them what's happening and that you think you need an RMA. They may have another solution. Like Fullmetal Chocobo says, they are good at helping...

If they agree to an RMA, ask for a cross-ship RMA, where they send you a good board before you have to send yours back to them. You'll have to give them a credit card number to assure them until you send the old board back to them... There are also 3 forms for you to fill out and e-mail back to them, but well worth it to get the cross-ship time savings. And they're good at crediting your credit card back as soon as they get your bad board...

Good luck, Noel

darkavenger,

I told you what to do in the above statement - call ASUS Tech Support and talk to them. You have a unique situation and MAYBE they can help you, OR get you a new motherboard to try it all over again.

Note I edited out my first couple of sentences in the above quote because they obviously didn't help you...
