Hi there

i just started installing a new machine with a P4c800-e deluxe and a E-GeForce FX 5700 Ultra and am having the following problem

Start the pc the first time everything is ok
warm boot either through software or ctl-alt-del and the graphic is all messed up in blocks.
cold boot and everything is fine again
warm boot -> same problem

Any ideas ?

thanks

Mike

What operating system are you using, do you have all the latest drivers, and what power supply are you using?

I am using an Antec case (SX635BII) with 350W Antec PSU.

OS is Win2K Pro but the problem is already before the OS comes into play. Even the ASUS boot screen is messed up

And it is perfectly reproducable. Cold boot fine, warm boot busted. Other then that it runs without any problems

Thanks again

Mike

Ok

i tried flashing bios and now i even tried the card in another mobo (old PIII SuperMicro mobo P6DBU) and it has the same problem so i guess the card is DOA

thanks
