Problem with Onboard Sound Chip

My onboard sound doesn't "activate" when I turn the computer on. To get sound I always have to open the Realtek Sound Effects program and do a sound test for the sound to come on. How do I get it to just recognize the speakers.

The rig is in my sig.
 
i'd uninstall and re-install the sound drives, sounds like there is a settings that is turned off.
