Problem with old computer. Won't post with some SDRAM.

I've got an Asus P5S-VM motherboard that came out of an old HP computer. It has a an AMD K6-2 500Mhz processor. It won't post with either of the 2 PC133 sticks that I have, but it will post with an old Compaq PC66 16MB stick.

However I can get it to post if I put the 16MB stick in the DIMM0 spot and the other 2 sticks in DIMMs 1 and 2 and it detects all of the ram, but it won't post in any other combination. Any idea what is going on? I would leave the 16Mb stick in but then I have to run at a 66MHz bus.
