Problem with OCZ520ADJ PSU........

I installed my old OCZ 520ADJ SLI into my wifes computer. It will only power up intermittently. The main power switch to the computer will turn on the system for only a few minutes after being turned off. After a few minutes the system will only turn on when the switch on the PSU is turn off and on again.

Is it the PSU or could it be a motherboard problem ?
 
Hmm....I had a similar problem with a friends computer once. He installed all the motherboard standoffs and was shorting out across the motherboard. Maybe you have an extra one in there or one not in the right place?

Its the power supply - I have one sitting on the floor and here it is 2014 and I was thinking about using it again and I remembered; it does exactly the same as your power supply and not worth re-using it. Sorry for dredging up such an old thread. Time for me to lets some things go like this old power supply 😉
