Hi there. I got a NVIDA GeForce 6800 AGP 128MB on eBay, but it seems to be damaged. It shows a lot of artifacts and distortions all over the screen and it eventually crashes after a few seconds on Windows. It seems that this card was victim of abusive overclocking and something is damaged. Do you know if there is any solution for this? I've already tried to lower its GPU and memory clock speeds, even re-flashed the BIOS with lower default clock speeds, but it's the same. Do you think this card is ready to go to the trash bin?

It does very much sound like it has defective memory..you may want to try using a clocking tool and detune the memory settings. If that clears the problem at some level then you have your answer. It is very possible that someone overclocked this card to the extreme and damaged it...on ebay...its buyer beware!!
