Problem with new monitor

I just got a new moniter. It is a Gateway FPD1830 LCD. For some reason, different parts of the screen are blurry, while others are very crisp. I am using a Radeon 9500 graphics card and have just updated my catalyst drivers. Does anyone know what could be causing this bluriness?

Nevermind, I figured it out. I had to go into Tracking and change the clock level. It is fixed now.

Let me warn you though, the FPD1830's are known for breaking down after a while. Mine lasted 2 years, and then eventually it would start to flicker and turn off, especially when the brightness was high. I think it is the backlight inverter that breaks, but I don't exactly remember. Just don't be too surprised if your screen starts to flicker and turn off. I managed to prolong its life a bit by turning down the brightness and contrast (both to 0, it was horrible, but it worked). If it's not too late, I would return that monitor and get a different one.
