I don't believe they are changing any colors - the text default is black. Is my text OK?

You're on the light theme. If you want to see what I'm referring to, change to the "In a Forum Darkly" theme and see. By default, text color is not set, so it's dynamic based on the theme.

OK - I changed themes and you are correct in what you observe. Since it is dynamic, there is always the possibility that something made the change, or rather, failed to make the change resulting in black text on dark gray.

If the text is the default black in the standard theme, there is n o evidence of the user changing colors. I suspect it may be something inherent in his/her system. I'll report it and see if the cause can be found. Thanks!

Yeah usually it happens when copy/pasting from somewhere else, which in an RTE will retain the attributes from the origin. If they're posting in another forum, then copy/paste it into the RTE here, that can cause the text to have a set color instead of default.

As someone who runs a XenForo forum with a light+dark theme, I need to ensure compatibility with both, which can be difficult sometimes.

Same response as before, with a continues long beep.

Installed speaker into the case to read any error code
from AMI.

AMI Bios, does not give a post code error with a sustained
beep.

I will try a stick of memory but doubt it will work.

I have ordered a PSU tester and will run a test ASAP.

So what exactly did Micro Center test when you took your system to them? Surely they hooked it up to working PSU while they had it there? I know if I had paid money for a repair shop to diagnose my PC, and I was still stuck at square one, I'd be talking to a manager.

What the Micro Center tech guy did, was to check the CPU
and do a post test. I did not axe if he tested the PSU.

The paper report said, rig will not post. Bad CPU or Mama/Board.

Unit just assigned. We pulled the CPU heat sink, no bent pins. Thermal paste looks ok.

Reapplied thermal paste to the unit seeing if it works. (WTH)

Unit was missing side panels and apparently Graphic card. Moving to stat 4,
contacting client. (sucker)

Well, I almost would be certain your motherboard is damaged. After all it was the component directly shorted. The only problem is the only way you can test the other components is by putting them in a known working computer and testing them. That includes your PSU, RAM, CPU, GPU, and storage drives. Several people on here, like myself, have multiple systems and spare components where we can do this at our homes. However, in your case, it sounds like you don't have this option.

If I were you, I would find a smaller PC repair shop, take in all of your parts, and have them test them.

UsandThem, I do have another rig as this is a
build for my sister-in-law. She is a district Judge
and issued a bench warrant for a new computer.

Other repair shop in the hood were hundred bucks or
more!

There are four parts that maybe the problem. I do
not believe the memory is bad and shortly I will be
able to bench test the PSU, which I now feel is in good
working order.

The primary suspects are the CPI and the Mama/Board.

And I think you are right, that I may have shorted out the
board, when I miss installed the stand ups.

Perhaps I upload an image or two. Then may not unless
I have a URL.

As expected the PSU test was normal.

+12v - 12.1v
+5v - 4.9v
PG - 280ms (not sure what dat is)

Time to buy another Mama/board or RMA
it back to Big-0-bite.

test before RMA the Mama/board.

Removed the CPU and added one of the LED
fans and powered it up.

The fan ran without a single incident of it blinking
on and off !!!

Now, I am wondering if the CPU is the problem?

Big-o-bite, did three different configuration tests with the
Mama/board and found no issues!!

Now, please do not tell me dat all three LED fans
(blinking on and off) are bad??

Beard board this new built today again. Will install the CPU, memory, graphic card,
a LED fan and try to see if it boots with no issues.

I better add a HDD as well, before trying to boot.

Installed the new replacement M/B (which Robert tells me
was stress tested) and same old issues with fans turning
on and off. I also noticed, that even the CPU fan is effected.
I discovered this with the flashlight on low beam, which
clearly shows the fan cycle speeding up and slowing down.
So all six fans in the case are not running normally.

As Usandthem suggested, it is time to take it to a repair
shop (not the worthless Microcenter). All of the components
have no known conflict and the there is no need to update
the bios. One last check with the Geek Squad and get their
opinion(s).

I have never been so frustrated in all of my life.

Well, after a six month break I am giving this another try.

I installed the new RAM (Gskill) and placed one stick onto
the mamabroad. Started the rig and well you know the theme
by now, all three LED case fans started to blink on and off, however,
different this time, was that the case fans and the CPU fan were
NOT CYCLING on and off!

Since the case fans were all hooked up in a series, I decided to remove
the rear outlet fan and see what would happen. Started up the rig, which
by the way was indeed posting, but the two front LED case fans blinked
on and off. Oh Boy, same junk, different day.

I had installed APEVIA AF312L-SBL 120mm Blue LED Ultra Silent Case Fan w/15 LED
& Anti-Vibration Rubber Pads (3 pack) - for $20.oo bucks.

At this point, I pandered at the rig and wondered if my next option was to breakdown
and start bread boarding again. This time I had the monitor hooked up and she
posted, so the only issue were the bloody blinking LED case fans.

I was quite sure, that six months ago, I did start with only two and a single fan and
each time they blinked.

What to do, I ax myself. I only had one option at my disposal, which was to hook up the rear fan
onto the mama board next to where the CPU fan header was. Fired up the rig and sure enough
all three case fans lit up and simultaneously turned off and then can back on. I watched the case
15 seconds, 30 seconds, 45 seconds and now one minute and all three LED fans were functioning
normally! One minute turned into five minutes and no malfunctions whatever!!!!! Bloody success!

I am not sure what I did, but it appears that these fans can not be connected together in a
series other than two, unless one is mounted to a fan header on the mama board. I do not
think that swapping out the old RAM (2011) with newer RAM was material. I could still
install the older RAM and see if the results are the same. It could be that the APEVIA fans
were poorly engineer or faulty or simply wherein case fans can not be connected together in a series.

In any case, the fans no longer blink on and off and neither do they cycle on and off as well.

Now the only issue that I have is a rapid rising CPU temperature (without any load), starting
at around 35 Celsius and climbing to 68 Celsius within five to six minutes. I had only placed
a pea size of Arctic thermal paste onto the core, so I will have to remove the cooler and likely
the CPU. The AMD processor will shut down at 72.4 Celsius, according to the manufacture.
