I put everything together completely but the system does not seem to boot up. I assume this is a hard drive error. I do not get any beeps. The blue screen appears after DMI Pool Data is varified. It says something like, A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent demage. It says computer may contain viruses, please remove any new hard drives. And at the end there is a error code I guess, 0x0000007B. I connected my hdd drive to SATA2_0 thing on the motherboard.

Is the HDD from a previous system?

You know you have to perform a fresh install of Windows if you make a major cahnge in the system like replacing the motherboard.

Ahh right, that hdd is from the old system. Man, do I really have to put a fresh install of windows on it ? If I do, I will have to make install again if I put it back in the old system?

Backup any important information you have on the old drive a do a fresh install. There are ways around it but it only causes problems. The install is never quite rigth after doing a work around.

See windows is tied heavly to the motherboard its installed with. You could try to boot into safe mode and unistasll all the old motherboard drivers but there is no garenty it will work. You may end up destroying the data on the HDD. Not a problem if you backup everything but it would be a big waste of time.
