Just built a new system. My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-EP45-DQ6. The LED on the motherboard is red instead of the usual green. Tried everything already. Took the board out of the case. Pulled everything off the board except the CPU. Even with just the CPU in, it comes up with the red LED.
The motherboard has a physical power button inside though, that does turn the system on and makes it fully functional. The second I flip the switch off on the back of the case though and the system completely loses power, I have to go back inside the case and press the power button inside again. The front panel is definitely setup right on the case as the power/reset buttons work fine once I press the internal power button.
What could be the problem?
