Problem with new Asus P5B

So I just bought a new core 2 duo, an Asus P5B motherboard, and 7900 GT. I installed everything using a few parts from my old computer, power supply and hard drives. Booting up initially got me into the bios setup and such fine, but after restarting, I don't even get to POST, just a blank screen. So I took out the cmos battery and unplugged my computer to reset the cmos. After that, I was able to get into the bios again, but after rebooting, I had the exact same thing happen. No POST, just a blank screen and nothing happens. Same thiong happens every time I reset the cmos.

My first guess is that something is wrong with the motherboard. Does anyone else have any thoughts? Should I try to get my motherboard RMA'd?
