Problem with Netgear wgr614v6

Just got myself a Netgear wgr614v6 ...everything seems to work fine...download speeds..signal coverage and connection seems ok...but this thing is hot...and after a night when i woke up the next morning...this thing is usually hang...and i had to manually reset it so that it works again..

i'm using the latest firmware from the netgear website...anyone facing the same problem ? should i return it and top up to get a linksys ? or does a small cooling fan solve the problem ?
