Problem with Nero.

I'm assuming this is supposed to be a feature but it feels like a bug. For some reason when I try to add a .lnk file to my compilation it puts the file it links to in my compilation. I do NOT want it to do this. I have looked through all the options and I can't find any way to disable it. I KNOW the older versions of Nero didn't do this but I can't use them because my CD-RW won't work with older versions. This is version 5.5.8.2.

The part that really stinks is the fact that this started AFTER I finally paid for Nero.

I am using Nero 5.5.9.9, and that issue doesn't seem to come up for me. Try upgrading to Nero's latest release.

You could just zip up all your .lnk files, and burn the .zip file...
 
I just noticed they have a newer version. I will try it tomorrow when I go back to school and can download it faster. The problem is I'm trying to backup entire hard drives to CDs. When I get to the Windows folder the size just gets huge because of all the links on the start menu and desktop.
