Problem with my vid card - help!

I have a somewhat older system: Asus P3v4X mobo and a Gladiac GeForce 2 vid card. (win xp is my OS, btw)

The problem is that my vid card in the system properties states it is in a PCI slot!

I updated the bios for the mobo (1005) and checked all the settings in the bios that I could think of, but no matter what I do, it says pci. I just *know* that this is slowing down my system.

Any suggestions?

it's not slowing down your system, promise. If it bugs you too much, install the newest vid card drivers.

:( It may slow down your perf. In any case it should id as an AGP card.

:) Be sure to install the latest non-beta updates for your BIOS, mobo & gfx card and check both manu & chipset websites.

:( Since the drivers for all hw that come on the WinXP CD are very basic drivers, designed to only get the hw working it's always a good idea to install the latest drivers for ALL of your hw.
