Problem with my "System Idle Process"

For some reason, my system idle process is eating up my CPU on the task manager processes section. I dunno why it's doing this. It slows down my computer and sometimes gives me errors on other programs. Can someone help me out?
 
it just means the processor is doing nothing..as you run other apps you will see it dropping down from 100%....I would get worried if it were running at 0% as then you would have problems. It just means it is 100% idle.
