Hi guys,

I am trying to download from BitTorrent, but the download speed is around 40Kib/S and that does not make sense at all. My router is Belkin Wireless Router (4-port).

I read quite a lot of stuff and most of them told me to forward the port to 6881-6889. I forwarded already, but the speed is still the same. PLEASE HELP ME... Thank you.

Sometimes d/l are just slow. Also I believe with BitTorrent you earn credits for faster d/l by how much you u/l.

I checked from bittorrent itself and it seems that the problem is the firewall from the router. I don't know how to forward, I tried to change the connection type, etc.

40 kb/sec is not too bad for a torrent. How many seeds does a file have?

An error in port forwarding will generally not cause problems like this.

what BT client are you using?

Give it some time, as you upload more of this torrent, your download will increase. Make sure you do not have your UL speed limited.
