I just installed the Geforce3 Ti200 from BB (it was my Hanukkah present :)). Well, I can get it installed no problem, but there is no sound :( Doh! I've tried the WHQL drivers off the CD, the new NVidia drivers, and the Microsoft Drivers that came with Windows XP (my OS). It is a Turtle Beach Montego II Quadzilla (Aureal Vortex based), and it worked fine with my Voodoo3 3000. I thought it was an IRQ conflict (they both use IRQ9), but as most of you know, WinXP like 2000 won't let you change IRQs. I get no sound in windows - mp3z wont play, and no pretty windows sounds. Very strange, because the windows startup sound sometimes work when I reboot, but no sound after that. Any suggestions?

You'd think if it was hogging an IRQ you'd be getting BSOD's or something. guess not!

It may very well be an IRQ conflict though.. I can't see what else would blow away your sound like that, to be honest... there are other possibilities, while very small....

Dude, since you're playing with an unsupported chipset, I say you treat it like that bahstad Voodoo chip and pull it from your system. Best Buy has a sale on SB Live 5.1 cards for $49. I believe the same price will also get you a Phillips Acoustic Edge if Creative Labs isn't your fancy...
