Problem with my new display m17x r4

hi i just reemplaced my display (900p to 1080p)
my problem is that the screen works great, but if i restart, close the screen, or put it sleep, i got this color rainbow all over the screen

when this problem start, all i have to do is restart the laptop till it works.

in short terms, the display works great for hours, playing games etc, but it stop working ramdonly when i restart, put it sleep, close screen, anything that may turn off the display

this is what i already tried
formated pc
checked if the lcd cable on the mother board was well placed
used my old lcd cable and putted it on my new display
updated all the drivers

try updating the BIOS, looks like it could be something motherboard related since it only happens when it sleeps or when you close the lid. Could also be a driver issues but as you updated them, not much more you can do there.
