PROBLEM with my new ATIRADEON 9800 PRO Video Card

I can't beleive the mistake I made. I lost an extension cable my video card comes with. Is an Y shape power extension cable that connects to the card and to the power supply and the third end connects to the Hard Drive.

ATIRADEON wants an arm and a leg for a replacement .

I have been looking for similar cable in the internet and found many that have similar shape and configuration even tho they R not exact copies of the original.

I am wondering if I can use those ones ( I am afraid of specs not being compatible).

Or can I just skip the darn power extension cable and connect directly the video card to a molex connector from the power supply.

Please help.
