Problem with my Duron 750/Asus A7V133a

I have a Duron 750 and a Duron 800 along with an Asus A7V133a.

The 800 runs like a charm, but I can't get the 750 to even post.

I start it up and the HS gets REALLY HOT, REALLY FAST. WTF??

I reapplied Arctic Silver a couple of times and it still refuses to post and just gets really hot. I pop the 800 in and the system rocks again. What's up??

Must be your CPU. I have the same mobo and CPU (750). Mine is running pretty hot (53-55C) at default speed. I doesn't erratic or anything though. Hope you can get it all straight🙂
