Problem with my CPU voltage on my Shuttle Ak31a.

I am ocing my Xp 1700+ and wanna raise the voltage. When i raise the voltage more than .100 it will go to the defult voltage. So when I use *.100 it goes to 1.850. If i use anything more than +.100 it will stay at 1.750. what is up with that?
