I can't connect to the internet anymore from my comp because the LAN port is doing something funny. the amber and green lights on the LAN port go solid and stay that way for 3 to 4 seconds, then turn off for 1 second, then turn back on, rinses and repeats. I don't know why this happened. I was checking my forums and such yesterday morning before work and all was well. I then left, and when I returned, I was surprised to find it fubar'd. Anyone know how this could happen?
I purchased the mobo just over three months ago from newegg. I'll try to call EPOX in about an hour and a half when those darn west coasters wake up, to see if there's something they know about. Otherwise I guess I'll have to RMA it back to them.
Truth is, I've not been very happy with the board since I've had it. i've only been able to increase the speed of my A64 2800+ from 1.8GHz to 2.0GHz with full stability. I was really hoping for closer to 2.4GHz or so. Who knows, this board may be crapping out, and if I RMA it and get a new one, things may run better.
