Problem with MPEG and Win ME

Whenever I play a MPEG(avi? didnt think to look at it, but I am pretty sure it is MPEG) the color starts out fine, then it will slowly get a really bad red tint in it, then jump back to normal...repeat until the clip/movie is over. Not life threatening, and hopefully it wont happen once I upgrade to 2k this weekend, but annoying and I am VERY curious as I am going to use the WIN ME CD for my GF's computer next...any ideas?

Anyone know what versions of ghost work with win2k? and what version of the norton bundle that it comes with? THANKS!!! 🙂
