Problem with mouse slowing down in games...

So today I finally bit the bullet and reformatted my PC, and everything went fine as planned. I installed the latest MX510 drivers from the Logitech website and set it to the proper speed and unchecked the box that says disable mouse acceleration in games. However, whenever I load a game the mouse has its acceleration disabled and moves at the pace of a snail. I rebooted my PC after disabling the box and it still doesn't work. Any advice?

hi, I had the same problem and therefore i don't use the logitech drivers anymore, for the moment that's the best solution,

wait did you enable or disable the game detection feature? i found it gives me nothing but trouble. i just use no acceleration all the time.
