Problem with Logitech MX 700 Duo and WinXP SP2

After installing SP2 my mouse and keyboard are no longer detected by the OS. I cannot figure out why as both are detected by the bios and I can use them up until Windows loads. I have plugged them into every USB port on my machine but they are never detected but were before SP2. Also, have uninstalled SP2 but to no avail. Any ideas?
