Problem with Logitech G5 + Alt tab

Ok, I have this annoying problem with my otherwise perfect G5 where whenever I minimize my game (CS:Source) and go back in some of the buttons stop working. When it happens I can't change my DPI, my ventrilo button doesn't work (mouse4) and an in game bind I have no longer works (mouse5).

If anybody has any ideas on how to fix this annoying little problem it would be greatly appreciated.
