Problem with Linksys WRT54GC

Hey guys,

I'm pretty good with computer stuff but this even boggles my mind..

I picked up my linksys wireless wrt54gc wifi router yesterday, plugged it in.

I can browse the net while wired, but not while on wireless. I updated the firmware, same problem.

Reset the modem, now I can't even connect.

I'm also running into issues that the router freezes when trying to setup port forwarding.

edit: after resetting the modem's firmware the reception for wifi went to 0.
 
You should try a different wireless channel and just try connecting at first with no encryption enabled. You can also try a different wireless adapter and a different computer. If it still does not work, exchange the router.
