Problem with Linksys WRT54G version 6

Does anyone know of any problems with the Linksys WRT54G (v6) wireless router? I had it for a week now and cannot configure WIFI to work properly. Regardless of the operating modes, I cannot get an IP address for wireless devices.

I updated firmware, which supposedly fixed the WIFI DHCP issue, but the problems remain. If you know of a quick fix or a trick that would help, I'm eternally appreciative. Else, I guess I will just send it back to Linksys.
 
it's most (as in 99.9999%) likely configuration related and not a hardware problem.

Try resetting it to factory defaults and connecting with no security enabled. Most times not getting an IP means you have the key wrong on your wireless client.
