Problem with Linksys WPC54GS wireless card

I just reformatted a laptop and gave a fresh XP Pro install. I downloaded the software for the card from Linksys.

The problem is that when I insert the card windows does not recognize it. You know how it makes those 2 tones when you install new hardware. Well when I put this card in it makes three beeps all the same tone. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver and rebooting the laptop then installing the card but that didn't work either.

When I check my hardware profile it, of course, doesn't show up.

Any suggestions?
