Problem with Linksys vs Counterstrike

Recently i just bought the Linksys 4 port router, and i am having problem with my half-life counterstrike game. As it says in the user guide, there is some problem with the game, it booted u after a min or so with an illegible server message, does anybody have a router and overcome this problem, my game frozed up after a round or so, but when i don't use the router , everything is back to normal again, can anyone help ? thanks
 
You might need to use some port forwarding on the router. Try first putting your IP address in the DMZ and see if that fixes it. If it does, then take it off DMZ and try port forwarding.

haha none of those work.. i tried so many time with DMZ and forwarding , it is still the same ... could it possibly be the router interfere with the game ?
