Problem with latest drivers for Promise Ultra100 controller

I have a Promise Ultra 100 controller in my system. I am currently running the 1.36 drivers without any trouble. I want to install SP3 for Windows 2000, but apparently the drivers I'm running aren't supported.

I installed the latest drivers from the Promise site that apparently fix the SP3 issues (version 2.00.0.39). After installing the drivers, my mouse cursor becomes quite jumpy. Going back to the older drivers resolves this problem.

I've e-mailed Promise technical support regarding this issue multiple times and have got no response. Anyone else experience this problem?
